| MIDI to USB problem |

I just bought a Toshiba Satellite 1405-S151 Laptop and tried to connect my MIDI Keyboard to one of the USB ports using a Gameport to USB converter. The computer does not recognize the keyboard nor will it allow me to install it manually...keeps giving me something about IRQ conflicts. My operating system is Windows XP Home edition.
