As many of you know, we ran the $10,000 Computer Music Competition during the final months of 1999. Over $10,000 in prizes were up for grabs and everybody had a chance of winning a prize. No matter if you were a musician, a web master, a fan of music or a reader of this very publication - we gave you the chance to win a prize.

Audio Master, IK Multimedia and Sheet Music Plus generously chipped in with a fantastic prize package. We had a digital audio workstation, music software, music hardware, sheet music and even web promotion up for grabs. To win, you could do as much as write and record a song or do as little as tune into a streaming MP3 and cast a vote.
