I have discovered a problem that I have yet to solve when using cool edit pro. when recording in multi track once I hit about 4:30 minutes of recording in SMPTE skipping starts to occur. I have tried changing buffer settings etc as recommended but it does not help. Anybody know why this happens and what can be done about it? I have a 600 mghz system with 256 RAM.
