With over 10,000 votes in the Hitsquad and MusiciansFriend '2001: A Musicians' Oddyssey' cast, we had to really go through the votes with a fine comb. We made sure to re-check the results.

The winner had around four times as many votes as the person next in the vote tally. It was an amazing result.

Based on our statistical analysis of the votes we came to the conclusion that the winner lived in the northern USA, most probably near the Canadian border.

And it would appear that we were right.

The winner is 'DESERT CARAVAN' by Ronald Silverlight.

Two 'critics choices' awards worth $1500 and $500 are going to be announced early next week.

We also hope bring you the word from the winners themselves. We know you'd like to know a little about these people and you can be sure we're going to let you know about them.
