It offers a complete workstation with analog-modeled circuitry in each of its three discrete processors. IK say its outstanding performance is the result of sophisticated physical modeling algorithms.
T-RackS includes:
Most importantly, it's stand-alone software and not a plug-in. It's features include: All-in-one-tool. 3 sound processors in 1. The only other way to achieve T-RackS results is to use an expensive series of software (like top quality eq+compressor+limiter plug-ins, into a multi-track audio sequencer or a stereo track editor) or very expensive hardware. Specially developed for mastering. T-RackS can incredibly enhance mix frequencies, open stereo images as well as boosting or precisely levelling dynamics, adding the beautiful warmth of the tube-devices it emulates. No other software or plug-in offers such a dedicated workstation for this extremely important task, shared by ALL audio productions. No other single sound-processors sound like T-RackS. Amazing analog modeled sound. T-RackS's unique warm sound is produced by algorithms based on real analog devices, together with a proprietary theory of filter design. This makes T-RackS sound similar to real analog audio hardware devices. Floating point internal resolution. T-RackS uses floating point representations of samples. Calculation using floats have no resolution problems and they are very similar to analog signal and better simulate the non-linearities that affect the signals under the analog domain. That's why T-RackS sounds so similar to the top-vintage equipment is modeled on (but noise-free). High productivity, great ease of use. The easy to use interface is achieved resembling typical simple analog controls on a beautiful 3D modeled interface. Thanks to this, and to the simultaneous availability of three different sound processors, T-RackS is also the easiest to use and productive application for mastering. No other software is needed, only a standard Mac or Pc. T-RackS will hit the street by January '99 at the incredible 299US$ price (suggested user price). A demo will be available soon at the T-rackS site.
