just to let you know most if not all of the CD income goes to the company and not to the artists... if the MP3s are hurting anyone its the fat-bastards sitting on thier ass doing nothing but putting out more music because they got nothing better to do with their money. Most bands, artists, make over 70% of their profit on touring and concerts not on thier CD's. MP3s also allow the avalibility of new upcoming bands. no one is going to go out and spend 15$ on a cd of a band they don't know if they like, and unless they go to CD warehouse or somehwere where you can sample the music, your pretty screwed out of your money. MP3s help smaller bands get noticed, and plus most people actually like to have the CD. hell, i download MP3s and then buy the cd is i like it. the only people hurt by MP3s are teh companys that take most of the artists money anyways.
