It would seem to me that the recording industry is upset that people are using technology to 'pirate' cd's and allow sharing among users. They claim that they are losing money! I along with a lot of other people pay on average $20.00 for a CD. I usually find that there are at least one sometimes 2 songs that are worth paying for and the rest are 'filler'. Seems to me that with digital technology today, the "middleman" is redundant! If the musicians are hurting so much then let me see proof! Even with all this so-called "illegal" distribution of mp3's everyone in the music industry is still making a helluva lot better living than me! Tell you what, I'll trade my house and livelihood for Sting's or Tommy Mottola's anyday!
Any takers?
