Songwriters & musicians need to eat too. But they don't seem to need to eat so badly that they'll provide singles so people don't have to starve themselves in order to buy a whole "album" of ho-hum (or worse) for one piece of really good art. This is especially true of old songs. Put singles out for an affordable price and we'll all benefit.
