soft wear for my sound card

i recently had my pc repaired and a new card was installed howerever the computer guy forgot to install the softwear. The sound card is pci multimedia audio device version 178.
Is it possible to download the softwear from somwhere? idont want to buy a whole new package just to get the disk.
