MIDI-sequencing

(Originally posted 08:05:25 2/19/07)

I work in a school system where I need a midi-sequencing program like Music Creator 3. We have Finale, but I create accompaniments/edit, etc. using a keyboard and then want to just have a program where I can save it and burn a CD. The problem with Music Creator 3 is that it does not have 'Administrator Privilieges.' Do you have a mid-sequencing program for windows XP that allows for 'administrator privileges' (Prevents users from removing the program or sending it to another computer, etc.)

thanx 2anyone!

A professional tracker!

This tracker offers the best quality rendering output I have ever seen on a tracker (32 bits, SINC interpolation for antialisating). It reaches the standards of professional audio quality !! It has a neat interface and a very good sample editor.
Really a great piece of software !

The only suggestion I have is for you to purchase a sound blaster sound card. I purchased a new computer that did not have sound blaster (my old system I gave to my son, which did have sound blaster on it), anyway I spent days searching the internet trying to find a free recorder for exactly what you are talking about. If I remember correctly there might be one available at ZDnet.com (I think). I ended up sending the piece of crap computer I purchased back to the company and bought another system, I made sure this system had sound blaster. Also, sound blaster sound cards are not that expensive, and they are great sound cards. Wish I could be of more help.
General.

A truly great program

This is truly great program with a modern and original sound of its own. I had not used a tracker for about 8 years when I decided to give this a go, it’s not for beginners, and it will help if you know most of the basics of electronic music arrangement, I’m into experimental electronic music so this program is perfect for me as sound creation with Aodix is very open-ended and its support for vst pluggin’s allows for even more combinations and possibilities, also the finished sound quality is very high up to 32 bit. On the downside there is not much of a manual to work from but the interface is simple and elegant to look at (not one of these Lego land colour interfaces for kids) so if you are prepared to persevere with the program you can work most things out. I look forward to seeing how the program develops.

AODIX RULES!!
