: 1)I want software with an equalizer so I can adjust input levels of various frequencies.

: 2) I want the software to be able to mix separate recording sessions: i.e. I'll record piano first & then voice or flute. Afterwards I'll combine these tracks (files?).

: 3) I want to be able to burn & play these recordings on an audio CD.
