The AcustiX Bösendorfer Piano is the result of the challenge to create a top-quality digital concert piano with breathtakingly rich and realistic sound, whose tonal precision and outstanding dynamic qualities rival those of a real, quality acoustic concert grand piano. The result is an awesome piano with powerful bass, crystal clear mid-range and brilliant treble. The piano uses only 242 MB of memory in its full version and only 132 MB in the Light version.

The AcustiX Bösendorfer Piano uses 3 carefully selected velocity layers sampled from a famous Bösendorfer concert grand piano. This piano sounds extremely warm and lyrical in the lower velocities, full of body in the mid velocities and crystal clear in the fortes. This character makes the AcustiX Bösendorfer Piano perfectly suited for all kinds of music ranging from Jazz to Classical and Pop Music.

The AcustiX Bösendorfer Piano is currently available in Halion sample format. An SF2 soundfont version is currently under development and will soon be available. To be able to use the piano you need the Halion VST Sampler from Steinberg. Please contact Steinberg for more information.

This trial version is based on the same samples as the full version but has the following limitations:

-Only one velocity layer was used

-All samples are limited to 2 seconds

-Total size less than 10 MB (full version uses 242 MB)
