Software Description

A simple synth plug-in, written mainly so I could have something to release the source of. It's a native XCode project, and should be useful reference for anyone trying to get started writing virtual instruments in AU format.

I'm new to addative synthesis but want to learn. How do I get a host for this soft?

synth is short for synthesizer and host programs include things like Logic Pro, Live, Acid, Reason, Pro Tools etc.

essentially a soft synth is an instrument to be used with one of these programs...In this case any program that uses AU (audio unit) plugins, which is the standard for most mac compatible programs.
