: does this prog also have positive values? speed up trax?
Yes, it has positive values. It also offers great flexibility in setting start and end points and offers a looping feature. So you can focus in on a section of music. It's very smart, very useful software.
I have all my violin students buy it so they can practice their pieces along with recordings of great players at the speed that suits them. They can then absorb the detail and nuance of a great player and then work up their tempo bit by bit, as you would with a metronome. (But so much more MUSICAL!)
I have all my fiddle students buy it so they can learn tunes straight from a disk.
And I use it in both those ways, plus it helps me do transcriptions very quickly because I can slow things down so much.
