Software Description

The Arrakisynthesis is a stereo polyphonic synth designed as a tribute to the film "Dune" by David Lynch. It is a relatively straightforward synth designed to emulate a variety of analog and digital tones and qualities, and to look great sitting in your virtual rack. I have had excellent results achieving very open atmospheric prophetic ambient tones, as well as warm, vintage sounding, and over the top hard hitting analog synth style tones with this one. Dial in small amounts of "Mentat" and "Spice", and you can get vibrato/tremelo style effects, or crank it, and it sounds like a flying saucer is going to blow up your speakers. The volume is under the VU meter, and works in an exponential fashion, so be careful with this one, it can be super sweet, but it can also get loud.
