AM radio air check cleanup

There must be 1000 different audio restoration programs. Who'd like to suggest a good, simple one for cleaning up and even improving the sound quality of AM radio airchecks. Perhaps there are 2 or more that should be used in conjunction. Project: Enhance 1956 aircheck of WXYZ, Detroit. Tape does not sound bad for it's age. Probably made in studio on production tape deck.
