Software Description

Audio Converter quickly and easily converts audio files and CD-audio tracks directly to WMA, MP3, AIFF, Ogg, and WAV formats. When converting an audio CD, it automatically receives information such as Title, Artist and Album using the CDDB. Audio file metadata (e.g ID3v2 tags) is preserved during the conversion.

It allows you to encode specific portions of a file, combine multiple source files to one larger output file and to import WinAMP M3U and PLS playlists. Additional features include silence detection, variable bit-rate (VBR) support, ID3v2 editing, lossless WMA encoding, audio volume normalization and support for fade-in/fade-out effects.

Big Problems!

This program can cause big problems for Explorer on Windows. It sets up a right click error message that gets control when ever you select a file and depending on which file you click, will freeze your machine.

Converter Question?

burning mp3 or wma discs

Does anybody know if you can create or WMA discs(CD-Rs with over 200 songs on them in WMA format)? I have found a wealth of rippers that can convert my audio or "Red Hat" CD's to WMA....but haven't been able to find one that also burns them onto a CD-R in the same format...I have a car stereo (Blaupunkt San Jose) that plays WMAs and MP#s and love the ability to have one disc with over 15 discs of music on it! Anyone with good opinions please advise.

The burner with the program CD Maker 2000 is worning me: the disk you are making me not be played on home and car units.

Dear Sirs.Would you also please give me information, which software I should buy to convert Wav files into MP3 and WMA files and all the other ways round,[ MP3 into WMA and Wav- and WMA into MP3 and Wav files ] Also I would like to only extract short pieces of a longer recording [ speeches etc]and save them into Wav,MP3 or WMA files on my computer or the net.
What can you recommend.
