AuditionIT! simplifies the Auditioning of sample files in Wave Format (.WAV).

It automatically queues up the wave files it finds, either as you change directories, through its recursive search functions, or through drag and drop from Windows Explorer (inc. CDRoms and Network).

You can then sit back and listen to the files play sequentially, picking the ones you like or are suitable for the project you are working on, skipping the rubbish and selecting anything interesting by simply pressing the space bar.

When you have listened through, you can then recheck your selection, for example putting them in loop mode to see how much work you may have to do to get the loop right, check the BPM value of the file, or change its format, sampling rate or bit rate to suit (single and batch processing).When you have selected the files you want, copy them from their source to a single directory so you know where they are when you need them.
