Subscript out of range!
I can't export a MIDI file, everytime I try it says "runtime error '9': subscript out of range". My song is pretty long and it's not even half way done yet... Is there anything that fixes this or an .mia converter or anything?
How I get around 'runtime errors'
This is how I get around them for now. My songs are usually 2 to 4 minutes long. So I cut them into parts depending on how long it is, where the verses fall, etc. If you still get the 'runtime', try making your parts smaller. Instead of three parts make it four. Then export each part from .mia to .midi into your audio player. I use Realplayer Plus because it lets me convert them into mp3s. It also lets you convert into others you might prefer. You can also use a Midi Converter. I sometimes use MIDI MP3 Converter when I have a lot of songs with parts to convert at one time. It's great and easy to use. Next, I use a program called Audacity. You can find it at downloads.com. I love this because I can put all the parts of my song together as one file, add vocals, take out parts, add effects, and so much more! When I'm done, I just export the file(s) back to my audio player and delete the midi files. (I keep all the .mia files incase I ever need to redo something.) Try it. I hope this helps.

if you are getting run time
if you are getting run time error,download the latest one (of course application in the effects rack will be less) or in a latest
pack of with other application and drag the sides upto the
18th array only, not beyond that , i think this would do nicely.

Thats fine though...when it opens up and gives that message you get a peak of what the program looks like....
I almost vomited a little bit in my mouth...ugly software...
Other than the error it probably would work great. but in my opinion, I wouldnt be able to make anything staring at those ugly colors, buttons, format, etc. terrible aesthetically...
cant say its a waste of time though...it was quick dl...maybe you wont get an error but I doubt it....

electronic Keyboard to PC
Hi. I have a yamaha PSR-E203 eloctronic keyboard connected to my PC via a M-Audio Midisport Uno USB to Midi interface. Can you suggest any software to utilise this setup. I want to record, edit and playback. Cheers. Andy
It's just odds and ends!!!
I'm running XP on a new emachine... downloaded and installed babya logic pro to try... It's disappointing!!!... a collage of tools with no integration. I used the "microkit" to create a .wav file, but the file was empty to other apps! There was about twenty tools in the start menu folder, but about half were synths or tone editors that had no musical purpose for me. The virtual bassist was a point-and-click sound maker NOT a new "band member". I know that you shouldn't expect much for free, but if "the advertisement says so, it should be so"! This program isn't something I would consider to be a production suite by any means.
