Cylonix Vocoder
Hey everyone,
I had the opportunity to try this little piece of software recently. I must say that I actually don't know what to say. It's a nice acquaintance, but IMHO it's more of a toy than a useful tool. I only had a quick glance so I might be on thin ice here. But I felt that it has too much limitations compared with a HW vocoder. The only things I could achieve was the ordinary "techno" & "das boot" sounds. I wasn't even close to achieve more colourful sounds like "california" by 2PAc & Dr. Dre or the sound that Cher has on her new tunes. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I had no cool carrier WAV's to play with. Am I stupid or what? Can anyone with a little more experience from Cylonix Vocoder tell me if it's more powerful than I found it to be? Otherwise I'll have to get myself a HW vocoder. Please mail me or post a msg here. Btw, I tried the full version, not the demo version, at a music store.
Peace,
/jonas
