Options --> Audio --> Input monitoring --> then choose nothing (remove the shade from everyting)

i am running sonar 1.0 through a sound blaster extigy external soundcard. there is a delay in audio when i arm a track to record. the midi (also running through the card) syncs just fine. sonar recognizes the soundcard and it is the only one i have the program configured to use. Does anyone know how to correct this?
