Software Description
CampFire Guitar is a song editor and chord finder that will help you organize and learn to play your favorite songs. CampFire guitar can also transpose songs, and it will print any song with it's own custom chord diagrams.
- CampFire Guitar will automatically scan text to identify chords and build a summary of chords for any song. These chords are displayed in a summary at the top of the song. You can view any chord in the summary on a fret board and hear a sample of how the chord sounds simply by clicking on it!
- CampFire guitar can identify over 1500 chords including many "slash" chords i.e. C/G. In addition, the chord summary is fully customizable to support chords that are not in the dictionary, and to allow alternate fingerings for chords that are.
- Press the play button, and CampFire guitar will step through the song, displaying the chords and playing a sample of the sounds. This is a great way to begin learning a song.
- CampFire Guitar can transpose songs into different keys. When transposing, the necessary capo position will be indicated to preserve the initial key of the song. Sometimes songs can be a lot easier to play when they are transposed to a different key.
- CampFire guitar will allow you to print your favorite songs complete with chord diagrams. Imagine, you may never have to stop playing to look up a chord again

40 icons to use this program :(
I don't know if this program is any good, but the programmer sucks. I downloaded it to learn campfire songs, but used that spare time to remove the 40 odd stupid icons off my desktop. Of course, I went through and thoroughly deleted the program (I hope to hell I got it all). But what a shame that the programmer wasn;t smart enough to access it all under one icon. But 40 on a desktop...and in no certain order on top of that....If you like clicking and searching...take your chances

It worked fine for me... I'm guessing it happened to Dave because he downloaded the program to the desktop and then double clicked on it and it self extracted in place. If you download the program to a folder, it will extract there and you'll be just fine. Then you just run setup and pick your installation destination.
A music book for campfire sing alongs.
I can't believe it. You have made my week. I am a single dad with a six year old daughter,am an avid camper and beach fire ring enthusiast and I have been searching for just this kind of thing to help me be able to round out these adventures. That is,a campfire songs book ! The local Guitar Center just couldn't come up with something so simple as that. I am sooooo stoked !! Every kid should have the campfire sing-along experience when growing up. Now I can deliver it. Thanx a million !

i realy need the chords to metallica songs (on an acoustics guitar)and i can only seem to find the tabs which i can hardly understand...............
the albums i wanna buy are the black album, load, reload, and ride the lightning.........
pleeeeeez can someone tell me which site to go to where i can get for max $5.00 or
i also want the chords to scar tissue by red hot peppers, its my life by bon jovi, and the one and itll be ok by limp bizkit!!!!!!!
