Software Description

CloneCD is the perfect tool to make backup copies of your music and data CDs, regardless of copy protection. CloneCD's award-winning user interface allows you to copy almost any CD in just a few mouse clicks.

Since the release of 5.0, CloneCD is not only able to copy CDs but also most DVD formats, such as DVD-R, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD+RW, DVD+R Dual Layer and DVD-RAM. The movies are copied 1:1 and therefore not modified (compressed). Note that to copy movie DVDs you also require AnyDVD.

CloneCD also works with other formats such as ISO and UDF files and copies CDs/DVDs with the new SafeDisc 3 Copy Protection System. Clone Cd will copy the disk (back-up purposes only) but you must use RAW DAO, enable sub-chanel data and switch off error checking.

Are you talking about 100 compact disks compressed into MP3 and then burned to a CD-ROM. I need some help with your question.

You could take an audio CD, rip it to your hard drive, then use maximum MP3 compression, convert the file to MP3 then burn that file to CD-R.

Rip - when your pc reads music data from the CD right into the hard drive. Not the same as playing the CD and encoding it through your sound card.

Yeah! There is upgrade software to re-vampe exhisting cd-write & execute soft., buty requires minimal expansion software to upgrade to to dvd cap. dirt cheap.-problem- underground bootlegs rarely match-up to exhisting h-ware. answ.= dvd-burn cap.Trade? HTTP: NelsonRedi4me@aol.com

Yes, it is possible to put 100 Mp3's on a 700mb CDR (providing that the Mp3's are no bigger than 7mb each).
This is not to say that you can then play said CDR in your car/home stereo. It's a purely 'back-up' thing.
A 700mb CDR will only hold a maximum 80mins of 'playable' music in your car/home stereo.
If you want to put 'playable' Mp3's on CD then use Mp3 CD Creator (find it in the 'downloads' section of my Help-Site - link is below).

I have a CD-Writer Plus 8400 Series. It's only a 4x, but it works great. I have recently bought new games, and I want to make a working disk for the kids. 8, 6, 5 and 2. I don't want them to reuin the new disks. I tryed CDclone, but it just errors out. The first time I used it burned fine, but now it won't work.. FRUSTRATED..

You can get them from any good "burner B clean" shop or department store. You may also wish to try a Stanley Knife to scratch off excess film" as i have just got a cd burner and i was wondering do cd burners actually get dirty, where abouts do they get dirty and would someone please be able to send me an e-mail so i would know what to look out for, any help in this matter would be appreciated thanks.

cloneCD on Compaq Presario 7595

with the 7595. Compaq won't tell me the manufacturer. If not, what's better
than the "POS" software from CeQuadrat that Compaq includes as OEM.

Go to START > CONTROL PANEL > SYSTEM > DEVICE MANAGER and then CD ROMS.
Highlight your burner and click PROPERTIES. This will give you all the info you need.

well I am sorry to here that your liton doesnt work with clone cd ! But my dose ! I have the new 12x10x32x Burnproof and I am useing ver. 2.7.8.1 of clone cd and I have had no problems at the moment !!Just what ever you do dont update your firmware unless its ver. lower than the one you have all ready got !! Hope you have some luck c ya bangbangde

No, it wont. Unless your Liteon is a model 1240 or 1240b.
If it's a 511 or 0841, then use NERO - althiugh copying PSX games will be a problem. PC games should be ok.
