: of course ps2 games are dvds,that's why they put a dvd laser reader in the darn system! if they weren't,when you put them in the system and started it up,it would flash the original ps logo instead,because all original ps one games are cds, and that's how the system judges which laser to use...
: anyway,unless you can afford a $500 dvd burner plus $30 APIECE blank dvd media,it's infinitely cheaper just to buy the games.for now...

the "smaller" ones are just single-layer DVDs...
