DART CD Recorder

When trying to burn a .bin file to a CD using DART CD Recorder I get the following messag:-

"unable to initialise ASPI manager. ASPI manager was not found on system"

Any one know why?

S.

Re: DART CD Recorder

Usually, your cd recorder software will install the advanced scsi programing interface (ASPI) manager software for your machine, unless you have an os that is newer than the cd recorder's software. Anyhow, this page should point you in the right direction to obtain the software you need.

DART Karaoke Studio CD+G error message

I get an error message when I try to create the din file: "un unnamed file not found"
What does this mean???

Re: DART Karaoke Studio CD+G error message

: I get an error message when I try to create the din file: "un unnamed file not found"

Has anyone solved this problem? I am using XP...doesn't say it supports XP so am unsure if this thing even works on this OS...anyone?

Thank goodness I am just using the demo.

Re: DART Karaoke Studio CD+G error message

Just remove the "tic" mark in "Insert Silence at the beginning to accomidate the bitmap (Bin files only)"

I have to agree with most though, this software is questionable at best, yes you "can" get the job done but not with proffesional looking results and the support for the program is basically non existant.

If SAMSUNG CD-R/RW Driver can burn cd+g?

cd-g burners

is a HP 843 usable for a cd-g burner?
if not what can I get to update my computer to use a cd-g burner

Re: cd-g burners

I dont know if the HP 843 is capable of burning cd+g cd's. But you can find out for free by downloading some demo software that you may eventually need, and see if it gives you the option to burn cd+g's. Obtain a demo of Goldenhawks Software CDRWIN at http://www.goldenhawk.com/
If it is not capable of burning cd+g's, you may have to get a different cd burner to do so.

There are some cheap LG electronics cd burners that do support the creation of cd+g's, however, if you want something that is going to last and is great quality, go for a Plextor.
Another thing to remember is that cd burner write speed does not allways equal out to a good end product.
Actually, for cd+g burning, it is suggested that you burn at 4 speed. I belive you could burn them at about 8 speed and still get a good burn from it. But the faster you burn cd+g's at, the worse quality they will be.

I hope this help you out a bit.

Re: cd-g burners

Someone is giving out false info about this. LG does not nor have they ever made a CD burner that wll make CD+G's. I have an LG DVD ROM that's about a year old and I contacted LG about making CD+G's and they infromed me they don't have any burners that will do CD+G's. The only brand that I can find that will do them is most any of the ones made by Plextor.

TRY DISC JUGGLER

Re: coping Sound Choice CDG's with track #16

It is very simple to do:
Read the Sound Choice Tracks (all 16 of them)
with Dart Recorder(following Loading instructions)
You will end up with 15 tracks as Dart Recorder does
not recognise the Mode 2 Track.
These tracks will now be in your specified directory
Close Dart recorder, Open CDRwin record disc, Load tracks from your
specified directory. (Hi-Lite LAST TRACK FIRST)by clicking on it then
Press Shift key and place cursor over your first track, Click on it
and now all your 15 tracks will be hi-lited click OK
your Cuesheet will be created with fifteen songs.
Click on Start Recording and wait for your copy of the
Sound Choice Disc to be burned.
(Note) If you have not burned before with CDRWin I suggest
that you enable the TEST MODE to check everything is alright
If everything goes OK then Cancel, Remove TEST MODE and re click
Start Recording. Good Luck.

Why are there so many unanswered questions????? Is there somebody from Dart Karaoke that can solve these peoples problems. You make a product that people can't use....we would like to support your product, but we can't/won't if you do back it up...it's like putting a new car on the market, and not giving it a gearbox, or giving the new owner the keys!!!!!C'mon guys,do it right!!!!! CD+g/MP+g is becoming very popular because of the quality of the song repoductions, being used for home karaoke and for professional karaoke hosts like myself. But if we can't access and/or produce the files, it will become a dying industry..........PLEASE HELP US ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Answers

I think If they wanted our business they would change there product so that other cd burners could use there product.. If they don't care I found another site www.goldenhawk.com try that one to see if your burner will work on their system!!!!!!
