Hi!
Maybe you got an answer, but here is what I did.
First I bought a little amp which is called
"Terratec" preamp. It converts the analog signals into digital.It is simple to configure this amp.
Then i bought two softwareprograms which is called
"LP recorder" and "LP ripper".
The programs cost about 30$.They are very simple to use and work without problems so far.
Now I`m trying out a software called "Wave corrector" to get rid of the clicks and all that stuff.
I have burned about 15 albums so far It`s great.
