Software Description

Declick is a brand new plug in filter for the shareware sound editor Cool Edit 96. Declick and Cool Edit together form a complete audio restauration laboratory, for about a quarter of the price for the professional version and much less than other professional solutions. Declick features 2 different filters, lots of user defineable parameters for the advanced user and results that were not possible before for this price.

Latest new features:

  • Renamed to "Declick 2000"
  • Now works with both Cool Edit 2000 and Cool Edit 96
  • Updated German documentation with new spelling rules

Freeware > time-limited trial

The front page says freeware, but when I opened the installer its license was described as a time-limited trial.

Might be worth the price, but it should say so up front instead of wasting my time. Not looking to buy stuff at this time.

I just visited the software author's homepage at <a href="https://paar.dyndns.org/" target="9387">https://paar.dyndns.org/</a> and it says:
"<font color="FF0000">Declick 2000 is discontinued, but a free version is still available!</font>"

when we purchased cool edit 96 and set it up we thought that we had everything right. However, now we have noticed that the speed of the sounds are way to fast. They almost sound like the chipmunks. Anyway, my staff cannot figure out how to slow the pacing down. We tried stretching the selections and slowing down that way, but that made everything too slow. If anyone can email me with help I would greatly appreciate it.
