EAC is the best audio grabber, and GUI mp3 encoder/decoder for the following reasons:

The GUI is simple, and does not take a lot of video, or system memory, like others, i.e. MusicMatch.

EAC may be adapted with all standard compression options, ex: LAME, Franhoefer, etc. Thus you will always have the best quality.

The CD copy process seems to be flawless, and easy to use, I am very impressed with it, and favor it.

What EAC lacks is home supported documetation, and a working CDR compatability list, which means that most CDRS may not work properly with the CUE sheet, and compilation capabilities, but this is why it probably won't ever get out of beta. It works for the developer, and unless he was to be picked up by a better sponsor, with interest to market, or have it work for other burners, it won't happen.

: The program works, but is does not have every feature wanted. It also means that it might not work for everybody.
