Software Description

The Electro-Gracie is a virtual synthesizer modelled in part to reflect the bizarre personality of my friend Tony's Dog, Gracie. This polyphonic synth is designed to create very melancholy, rainy, and atmospheric tones, but can also, ahem...bark, so to speak.

The seasonal controls up top control the selected waveform's properties, whilst the ADSR envelope to the southeast tackle how the selected tone gets delivered. One of the things that make this one really sweet, is the fact that it has an internal delay which can run in tangent to the BPM your project is set at, so you can hammer octave notes until they glide in to the mix, where they'll linger if you so choose, with or against the beat.

Another thing is the Res. Freq slider which lets you fine tune the resonant pitch in certain settings to achieve very dreamy, almost "tine-y" tones. There's also a manipulatable scope in the top right where you can further adjust and impliment multiple parameters to your tastes. There's a lot more to it as well, so experiment and find what YOU like!
