If you upgraded your win98 from win95 using the windws 95 upgrade CD,
to make your system able to restart again, boot the command prompt only,
insert the windows 98 upgrade CD and re-run the setup again.
This won't delete your installed programs, and you'll be able to boot again.

In order to install Office 2000 without getting the internal error 2355 and
getting a corrupted system, check first this support page from Microsoft:

: some of my win 98 dll have been corrupted when intalling OFFICE 2000 Premium. i can not restart my PC & when i boot by pressing F5, i have a message with comctl32,dll or comdl32,dll

: How can i do to restart my pc ? what about the ocx files ?
