: : : I have the same Evolution Mk-249, but it comes with Sound Studio 2, not Pro. You only need the midi and usb drivers for the keyboard to work in nearly any music creation software compatable with your midi enabled sound card. Evolution is now run by M-Audio, (find link on left) and is providing all the drivers and documents you need for your MK-249. : M Audio no longer offer any support for Sound Studio in any form. if you have been lumbered with the pro demo I am afraid that is all you get, you cannot buy the update nor upgrade. neither is there any fix that I have found that works for turning it on.Shame really for SSII Pro is probably one of those classics that will go down in history. I only have the ordinary SS II that you get with the keyboard. In its own right a good program once you fix the odd bugs.
