Support 96k at 24 bit??

I have a Alesis Master Link which can create
aiff files at 96/24. When I editing/playing the
file using Goldwave, the speed/pitch is off. I
resampled to 96k but it still reads 16bit. The
aiff file also has alot of hiss to it, when playing
using Goldwave, but not on the MasterLink.

Because of the 16bit only????

There are no editing functions on the Masterlink
as far as noise reduction, pop/click ...

Just experimenting.

newbie-Q: how is Goldwave 4.23 for creating looping .wav files

nd turn them into .wav files so that I can use them on Web pages I design and loop
them using JavaScript. I don't need anything complicated, just clean and reliable.

Is this the program for me, or can you recommend something better?

Question From Newbie Before I Buy Please

Please excuse my dumbness... Say I'm recording a voice/music file for a webcast; I'm using my 2 channel stereo mixer and mics etc.,
I play it back and find that I need to clean up some background noise or adjust volume levels, maybe even add some music in a spot or two.
In other words, just wanna improve the overall quality so it doesn't sound like its coming out of my garage. lol. This file is a realmedia file recorded on
RealProducer (GAG)... can I clean it up AND save it as a wav or an mp3 too? Is Goldwave what I want or should I get the Multiquence or both?

I have used Goldwave for about 2 months now and it does a good job of fixing, adding or cleaning up sound files. Try it without buying it first and see what you think. Then if you like it, buy it.

I would like to buy an Mp3/Cd discman, but I would like to know if it is possible to link a Hi-Fi to this discman (or any discman). It would be really practical to have this link since sometimes you don't wanna keep listening to your music alone, you wanna share it with your friends using the speakers of of a Hi-Fi...
