groovemaker sucks. i guess it's ok if you want to make simple party jams or use all their preset sounds, but basically, if you want to create your own original music, i don't recommend it. first of all, to do anything, you have to load in one of their preset songs on the cd included, then import your own audio files in a really pain-in-the-ass, time consuming manner. if you try to use the randomize mix function, it mixes in their (cheesy) preset sounds. also, everytime i tried to use the arpeggiator, the program crashes. plus no effects whatsoever make for dry, uneventful mixes and there is no option to sync to midi. they have no money back guarantee so, don't be a fool like me and waste the $79.
