Software Description
-Play tabulature files!
Uses Windows MIDI to play guitar tabulature files commonly found on the internet.
-View/Edit tabulature files
Comprehensive viewer and editor for tabulature files. Cut and paste sections of music, add hammer-ons, slides and much more!
-Virtual Fretboard and Virtual Piano
Create new tabulature files easily using the virtual guitar fretboard that plays and places notes as you click on it. The virtual piano is now linked to the virtual guitar. So any not you hit on one shows up on the other!! The virtual guitar can now also be inverted and reversed for you lefties out there!
-Chord Generator
Quickly create new tabulature files using the built in chord generator. This chord generating algorithm allows you to view all the possible chords for any tuning! It also will do this in reverse by telling you what chord you have created on the virtual fretboard!
-Alternate Tunings and Capo Settings
GuitarBot supports alternate tunings such as Open G, Open D. Guitar Bot also comes with a tuning editor where you can create your own tunings! It also allows you to set a capo location for capoed songs. You can even program in other stringed instuments such as the Ukelele or Bass guitar!

Well...the program uses MIDI to play sound. Have you checked your MIDI volume to make sure its not muted and it's turned up? Also, try changing the MIDI device in the MIDI tab in the GuitarBot program.
Setup Problem Fixed
There was a SETUP problem with the version 2 eval. It has been fixed and is working properly on the five systems I tested it on.

Oh Yes! I´d like to see it running on a mac, beeing able to record from a midi input, like with a midi guitar, beeing able to export midifile to open it in a score app like Cubase ect...

I don't think it will ever work on a mac as I don't and never have owned a mac. But I am looking into being able to export to a MIDI file. I am just having difficulty finding any reference material on how this would be accomplished.
