Software Description

Guitar Pro v5 has been replaced by the improved Guitar Pro 6.

Guitar Pro runs on both Windows and Max OSX.

It's a multitrack tablature (TAB) editor for stringed instruments including guitar, banjo, and bass, and also lets you score other instruments like drums.

Arobas spent 3 years developing v6 of Guitar Pro. They re-wrote the entire application as well as giving it a new user interface which is cleaner and creates more space for the actual score you are working on.

In addition to creating scores, Guitar Pro is a great tool for helping to improve your skills, compose music, or for creating music to accompany your playing.

Does anyone know where I can down load an mp3 to test. I wish to try sending a sound file via e-mail? I use Peak & Protools for composing and wish to shift sound information into the smallest sound file I can so I can put out a song I composed and perform called 'Universal hands Unite'. I thought maybe this was a god thing to do for free via e-mail to network. If you know where I csn down load such a progran do you mind getting back to me please.

I have a Mac and am using protools and Peak sound composing programs. I want to try Mp3. I want to be able to email sound files and was told Mp3 is a good product. Can you provide a sample I could down load to test out?

Problems with importing MIDIs

For some reason, Guitar Pro 3.0 sometimes has trouble importing bass & percussion tracks from MIDIs. Often the tracks will show up but there aren't any notes, only rests. Even if I change the guitar tuning for the track, nothing shows up. Why is that? And is there a download that addresses this problem?
