Software Description

Guitar Pro v5 has been replaced by the improved Guitar Pro 6.

Guitar Pro runs on both Windows and Max OSX.

It's a multitrack tablature (TAB) editor for stringed instruments including guitar, banjo, and bass, and also lets you score other instruments like drums.

Arobas spent 3 years developing v6 of Guitar Pro. They re-wrote the entire application as well as giving it a new user interface which is cleaner and creates more space for the actual score you are working on.

In addition to creating scores, Guitar Pro is a great tool for helping to improve your skills, compose music, or for creating music to accompany your playing.

been using guitar pro 6 since the release, it has some good and bad. I like the the built in sound banks. If you have used guitar pro meaning earlier versions, it is the same in basic design and play. Buy the add on's and it opens up more sound banks and more to the imaginations to create. Still has the midi sound, its were you export it all to wave when your done and you have your basic song you can introduce to you bandmates.

You can no longer download Guitar Pro 5. Version 6 has many new features so you are much better off installing this version.
