This information applies to the following product models:
CVP6, CVP8, CVP10, CVP35, CVP45, CVP55, CVP65, CVP75, EL30, EL50, EL70, EL90, PSR600, PSR620, PSR2500, PSR3500, PSR4500, PSR5700, QX3, SY77, SY85, SY99 and V50.
Most current music software programs and electronic keyboards are compatible with the Standard MIDI File format (SMF). The Yamaha models listed above store songs in the Yamaha proprietary ESEQ format. If compatibility with other keyboards or software is desired, there is a company which sells a software program that converts ESEQ files into SMF files. The program is called DOMSMF.
