Intuem is music and audio production without the relatively foreign metaphors of a recording studio using instead the familiar metaphors of a spreadsheet, a word processor, a drawing app.

Intuem makes it easy to record and work with audio and MIDI, but you can use it to help learn a new song on your MIDI instrument, help you transcribe your favourite music into MIDI from audio, arrange and mix songs in a play-list or export a composition as an audio file to use as a video sound track.

This new version of Intuem fixes problems with the activation process in Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and adds a new feature: You can now choose to have Intuem respond to MIDI when Intuem is not the front most application. With Intuem receiving MIDI in the background you can create a sophisticated studio environment with multiple MIDI/audio applications on your Mac at once for an expansive, rich, working environment.
