Software Description

Joshua's ChordTutor is a simple, versatile tool for learning to play guitar chords. Like a typing tutor program, it solves the problem of having to look at your fingers when you practice, which is a major factor in slower progress.

It features high resolution, high color graphics and realistic MIDI sound in an interface which is as easy to use as a touchtone telephone. Structured exercises at three skill levels reveal new chords to practice as you are ready for them. Songbook mode provides a fast way to input songs from your favorite songbooks employing a drag-and-drop interface. Additionally, it instantly transposes songs to your singing range. 1800 chords are included in the library.

The registered version provides intermediate and advanced structured exercises, saving and loading chord sequences, searching for chord patterns and adding new chords. A complete built-in tutorial is provided.
