My VST host-sequencer-audio-sampler solution, MultiTrack Studio saves the fxb and fxp preset files in each track of each song, so 'no-problemo.'
The modest GUI doesn't begin to indicate how powerful it is, but behind it lies a very intuitive interface. I love it when I never have to crack the manual open because, really in this case: what for? I think it's the ADD side of my mind that has to come along when it hears music.
