It acts like a tube mic preamp that is slightly misaligned which breaks up to produce interesting analog harmonics. Useful for fattening vocals, piano, guitars, bass and drums. Controls are simple, you can adjust the heat which is the coloration and the mix which is the level of the wet signal. These type of plugins give a more organic feel to dry digital sounding audio.
