Software Description

MP3 to WAV Decoder makes burning custom music CDs a snap. Eliminate corrupt MP3 files, and decode them quickly and easily to the burnable WAV format. I used the mid2wav.exe program(downloaded from internet)to convert .mid files to .wav format. The converted .wav file when played with windows media player or Winamp reproduces satisfactorily in one Pentium4 machine. But when I play the same .wav file in another P-4 machine I do not hear any sound. Windows Media player or Winamp has absolutely no problem in playing the file, but no sound can be heard, even at full volume setting.
Could anyone please suggest a solution to this problem?

If you need lots of spyware and adware
added to your system this is the download to use!

It took me hours to purge it from my system. And I never even ran it, just the
install put all kinds of junk onto my system.

This should BEWARE not FREEWARE!!

I've been looking everywhere for a converter myself. I tried timidity and it's not working, like "Steven" says. If I ever find one, I'll tell you. If you get one, could you tell me? I'm hosting a Flash website and Flash doesn't accept .midi (which is practically the only music I have).

First of all, you can't convert midi to wave (midis are data files, waves are audio), but you can record a wave of the midi (you can consider that converting it). I haven't found a freeware converter besides Timidity++. What I did was hooked the cable of my main speaker into my microphone jack, opened a recorder (I suggest the Pocket Voice Recorder for files under ten minutes) started recording, and played the midi, in that order. You will lose one channel of sound, but generally that doesn't make a big difference. When you're finished export the message to .wav (save it as a wav file), then rehook your speakers. Hope this helps!
