Gabriel, sorry, but media Jukebox does not help in this situation. Same thing happened to me 10 years ago. If you haven't backed up the original file to a cd, it won't work. If you buy a new license and download again the same will happen.

A serial number does you not any good without the original file. If you choose to purchase a new jukebox, put the download on a cd. of course your system will crash again. You will reload windows again, but you will have your password and can try again. second time works better than the first.

This really sucks, but the security system at mjukebox works this way...dave

The development company has no privacy policy, and the founder has openly admitted that the program will scan your hard drive and send information back home. The information is saved by the developer purportedly to help defend against piracy. BULLs**t!!!
The program does not such thing.
I've had it for years.
It's getting dated, it has a couple of annoying bugs. But otherwise it ROCKS.
I repeat, no scanning of hardrives.
(Look at your hardrive light ya moron.)
It does "sometimes" send out info on songs.
You will see it appear in the lower left corner.
It is called "privacy report"
This is simply keeping track of your browsing habits when you look up songs. If you don't want that. Get a software firewall and block it.
Simple.
Nuf said.

I have a computer with no access to internet. I downloaded the Media jukebox 7.1 from another computer, put it in a CD and installed in my computer but it doesn't let me encode 'cause it can't download the LAME MP3 pluggin. I don't have another encoder. Is there a way to download pluggins, save them in a CD or diskette and then install them in my computer????

cd text encoding ?

i love music match jukebox software, but it does encode the cd text info on the cd like adaptec does. The problem with the adaptec software is it does not organizea ll my songs in a easy to use library like music match. Basically is there a software program that has a easy to read library window like musicmatch, that when you burn a cd encodes all the cd text info. i like this because all mt car cd players display the song titles and artist info.

please help if you know of some software
