HC38 Headphone Calibrator is a plug-in that will emulate the sound of your studio monitors into your headphones.

The basic goal of the HC38 is to let you hear what you would hear in your studio monitors through your headphones. One practical application is for listening to mixes and projects when you are on the go, or if you simply prefer to mix and master using your headphones.

It works by emulating several key aspects of monitoring in a room environment. This include crossfeed, sound absorption, and reflection. It also has the basic hi-pass and lo-pass filters so you can adjust it accordingly based on your headphones's frequency response graph.

You can fine tune the sound further by adjusting the crossfeed fader to match your studio monitor's speaker distance. And finally you can also emulate the room environment by selecting from 6 representative flooring and room treatment materials.
