Software Description

With over 2,000 downloads and in use at radio stations and broadcasters around the globe, Mixopia Classic Radio Automation and Live Assist software is one of the most popular radio automation and live assist programmes available today.


Mixopia Classic is an integrated, automated, music playout system and was put together to meet the requirements and budgets of hospital and student stations. Its amazing price also makes it ideal for training organisations and for use as a simple backup system.


Radio Features

  • Search feature which allows you to load songs from anywhere on the hard disk by simply typing some or all of the artist or track name.
  • Build playlists by specifying songs, or allowing Mixopia to select, based on a rotation criteria.
  • Schedule in playlist changes to take place instantly (e.g. on the hour) or delayed (i.e. when the currently playing song finishes)
  • Customisable segue fade speed.
  • Talk over button.
  • Instant-Fire cart bank
  • Joystick / Game Port interface for "remote start"


    Club / DJ Features

  • Mixopia also offers limited beatmatching and mixing capabilities
  • Calculate and record the BPMs of all of your songs.
  • Specify a BPM that you would like to mix at. (Mixopia will then automatically adjust the pitch of songs so that they match your specified BPM)
  • Mix between two songs using a cross fader.
  • "Jukebox Mode" which shows details of last song played, current song playing, and the next song to play.
