get a program like cool edit 2000 and convert mp3 to wav or midi. Open the file with a program called mod plug tracker & save as .mod .xm .s3m or .it file.
You can also experiment with speed & stuff. To listen use mod plug player

Winamp plays MOD music
God, stupid.

Ironically, he's right in the way that Winamp can actually CONVERT from MOD to WAV or WMA. You can then convert the WAV to MP3 with any of the several conversion tools. Check the output plug-ins in Winamp Configuration.
By the way, you shouldn't be so aggressive, there's no need to.

I don't believe, that you need extra converter-tools, with the right codecs installed (google for 'all-in-one codec-pack' or sth like that) winamp is (at least my winamp is ;) ) able to directly convert .MODules into mp3 or ogg or whatever. I don't recommend reencoding .wma's because of some quality-loss when encoding an already-encoded file.
and you are right... being abusive just because someone misunderstood a request for help is ridiculous.

I tried once to register mod4win online a couple weeks
ago, but as yet haven't received anything through
the mail. I printed out the registration form, but
there was no address to mail it to! Could you kindly
tell me how and where to register my version of Mod4win
since my trial period has run out.

Hi... As fas as I know, the mod4win is no longer supported
There is a way to supress the lock of it, that is active when
the player reaches 30 days of install.
