Just try this : encode a movie in MPG format. Make it quite long, something like 10 minutes.
Then, demux it to M1V and MP3, I you play them sipultaneously, you'll notice, they're perfectly synchronized all the way to the end.
Then, convert the MP3 file to WAV using MP3 to Wave.
Then, play the M1V and the WAV file together. Enjoy a very nice desync. About 2 seconds after 10 minutes.
It happens always no matter what you do.
