Software Description

MusicEase is a combination music notation editor / automatic accompaniment creator. As a full-featured, intelligent music notation editor, it produces highly polished, publication quality, printed music. It also automatically generates accompaniments consisting of any number of general MIDI instruments including drums which you can play, print or save as a MIDI file and includes support for scanned music.

I paid for a Musicease 8.0 disk but i lost it on my computer.
I want to get a disk in the mail so I can load into several computers I have.

This was my order # 78120519

MEW 8800769

I hope I do't have to pay for another copy!!
I paid $84.94 for a download but downloading is difficult.

MIDI score with names of notes

Hello all. Does anybody know of a program that will give you the sheet music of a MIDI file and put the names of the notes on the staff next to the notes? I can get the notes in an Event List, but that's separate. I want to see the names of the notes right there on the staff. And while we're at it, I'd like it to guess the chords and put them up there too. I don't think I'm asking too much. :-) Does such a thing exist?

Useless product, lousy support

The Music Ease software is slow, limited in power and features, and comes with poor customer support. It takes many minutes to perform layout functions on even simple scores, and does not allow the user to control the final result. This company advertises many features that simply do not exist in their product. For instance I paid extra for a 'deluxe' version which claimed the ability to import GM files. Attempts to import failed completely.
When I contacted the company, they were rude and patronizing, blaming me for the problem. I complied with their requests to send the failed files several times. They never offered a solution to the problem, or to refund my money.

Avoid this product by al means. Cakewalk Score writer, Band in a Box, or Power Tracks all offer better features and support for less money.

There is a programme called DrumScriobh, by Ceol Mor Software.

MusicEase Professional was my choice after downloading all of the demos linked to this site.
MusicEase is the ultimate "no-nonsense" music notation program. For people like myself, who
are looking for a program with a fast computer keyboard interface, MusicEase was the fastest.
When I ran across limitations, I contacted MusicEase and they even made changes and sent
me an updated version! They were very interested in what improvements I would find desirable.
Last but not least, the price is the most competitive of anything else I've seen on the market.

Church Needs Copies of Music for Choir

Be careful. If you intend to make copies of songs that are under copyright it could be very costly.

I'm doing a graduate dip ed. in music and need scores of a cotemporary Australian composer. I have a 2000 word essay to complete by next week plus 3 lesson plans, for year 11-12 students based aruond the scores of the chosen composer. It's in the machine, but what gets it started? I clicked on the bust of Mozart, and it asked me to select an image file, then proceeded to do nothing.
Am I missing a step somewhere? It's beenknown to happen before :-)

I paid for the upgrade for one reason: to be able to import MIDI files to Music Ease as advertised. Note that Music Ease FAILS to import midi files. When I wrote for tech support they said they would try to figure it out and then I heard nothing.
