hi
hi,
i've been using NWC for composing and rearranging staff notations for the last 3 years. It is really fun and supportive, all the things i need are in it, and could even detect out the so many mistakes i made. I am really grateful and happy that i am still trying to learn more and more as NWC has so many capabilities. Thanks again.
Ben.

How to create accord notes for bass cleff without manually enter
Hello all,
Does everyone know how to create notes for bass cleff without enter any note for it. For example, I just enter a song's notes for treble cleff. Now I want to generate accords for the whole song with the bass cleff without manually enter notes for it. Does the software can do that?
Regards,
Ken

Guitar Chords
For my own compositions, I place guitar chords (i.e., A, E) above the staff using the text field. This works OK, but many of the chords I play are not the standard configurations on the fretboard. I would like to create a "visual glossary" of these chord configurations, a picture for each chord showing the six strings and the little dots where the fingers go! Maybe I could create chord 'picture files' and splice these into the open area below the last staff. Any ideas on how to do this?
Thanks. Jim

Where has Noteworthy gone?
Can't seem to access the Noteworthy site either from link on this site or any of the other links I've had in the past. Are they still around, and are there any updates after 1.7 with service packs 1 and 2?
Help!
After installing,I can't listen to any of the notes played, though it's possible before deleting it some years ago.
Pls help me.Thanks!

NoteWorthy Composer
I've done very well with the trial version. I'm a novice at this game, but the program makes it easy to work with musical notation. I'm still looking at other packages, but NoteWorthy looks like the better deal thus far.

Midi to manuscript
Does this program convert midis into manuscrpit?/????
Re: Midi to manuscript
: Does this program convert midis into manuscrpit?/????
Yes. File/Import from the main menu. I'm using the demo version
but it should be the same.
capabilities
I need a program that allows me to write music for a single instrument (without going thru a score)
I want to be able to choose the clef. I want to be able to enter Chord changes and transpose both the
notes and the chords simultaneously. I want to be able to print a sheet of music for that one instrument. Will
Noteworthy do all that?
Thanks
Midi to Wav.??
I just want to know if there are programs that change Midi's into Wave files, and from wave files into MP3's.
If Anybody knows of programs that are able to do this, please contact me. Thanks.
MIDI to WAV program
Use SynthFont by Kenneth Rundt. The page is: www.synthfont.com/
It is free and wonderful! Can make MP3s too. . .using soundfonts. HIGHLY recommended.

transcribing music from .wav format
I am looking for a way to transcribe music from .wav format into
musical notation with as few steps as possible, preferably straight
from a mic or music CD.
does this program do this?
Re: transcribing music from .wav format
The best program to do what your seeking is: AKoff Music Composer Version 2.0, available at www.akoff.com, or by whatever other means you desire ;)
Piece of sheisse nonetheless. Herr Mierisch gave you an absolute "NO"...which is not ABSOLUTELY TRUE, however, true enough to say that WAV to MID...is not a good transcribing method. Gotta learn it the hard way, Sport.

: does this program do this?
My standard reply to folks who ask this:
No, and don't bother looking for something that does. The few programs that can do this are very, very limited in how well they work. The concepts behind wav and midi are vastly different and conversion involves, ultimately, the ablity to dechipher extremely complex soundwaves, distilling them to a simple bit of data. What you are asking for, really, is something akin to say a program that will take a movie from the big screen and reduce it to a handful of pictures and a condensed script.
Good luck!
Note Worthy player
I think your player is very good and i like it a lot.
I appreciate the time and effort you have put into this
player.
Thanks
