They've been promising the v2 release every year since 1998. The scenario is much worse than you think!!

Their program has MAJOR latancy problems, the midi functions aren't worth anything, they removed the option to save as a MOD file that was originally in the Amiga version and still haven't added back, and their newest version, 1.5, adds bass equalization that you can't adjust, the song finally doesn't pause at the beginning when you start playing it, and they added, oh boy, "help balloons", while making the program require twice the memory and twice the processor. Their v1.5 is absolute rubbish.

Every year it's "v2 is coming soon". It's garbage. Use Renoise instead: It has full midi functions, there is no latancy problems, you can use vst plugins--it basically is using most of the studio standards--med has --ZERO-- studio standards, not even midi.

And they want people to pay for the upgrade from 1.4 to 1.5 so they can have help baloons? Give me a break!!!!
